The HB9HMR Award
From January 19 to February 4 2018 a special exhibition about Ham Radio and Ham Emergency Radio will take place at the museum of local history in Reinach BL, Switzerland. The local Emergency Amateur Radio Club HB9NFB (Notfunk Birs) will be on air at the museum during the opening hours with the special call sign HB9HMR.
We will issue an award to hams who will contact us frequently. We are looking forward to making as many contacts as possible.
Award rules
- Swiss Ham Radio Stations
At least 3 QSO with HB9HMR on two different ham bands. Between the first and the last QSO there must be at least a time interval of two hours. - International Ham Radio Stations
At least 2 QSO with HB9HMR on two different ham bands. Between the first and the last QSO there must be at least a time interval of two hours. - Short Wave Listeners (SWL)
Listen to and log at least 2 QSO with HB9HMR on two different ham bands. Between the first and the last QSO there must be at least a time interval of one hour.
From January 20 to February 4, 2018 we will be QRV on short wave during the scheduled times (see below).
The ham radio station HB9HMR will be QRV at the museum’s opening hours:
- Saturday, January 20, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
- Sunday, January 21, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
- Tuesday, January 23, 2018, 19:00 - 22:30 hrs CET (1800 - 2130 UTC)
- Saturday, January 27, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
- Sunday, January 28, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
- Tuesday, January 20, 2018, 19:00 - 22:30 hrs CET (1800 - 2130 UTC)
- Saturday, February 03, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
- Sunday, February 04, 2018, 14:00 - 18:30 hrs CET (1300 - 1730 UTC)
Other QRV times are possible, but not scheduled in advance. Also a CW station will be active from time to time.
We are looking forward to making as many international contacts as possible.
